Follow Dunwoody Place 1.3 miles to Roswell Road, and turn right. Cross the Chattahoochee River, then climb out of the river valley on Roswell Road to Mill Street, a distance of 1.7 miles. Turn right on Mill Street at the entrance to Roswell Mill, go to the end of the street and bear right, still on Mill Street. The park entrance is almost straight ahead. with plenty of parking nearby.
The waterfall was created when the creek was dammed to provide waterpower as well as the original machine shop can be viewed from the interpreted trail. A covered pedestrian bridge over the creek connects the walking trail that begins in Old Mill Park to the Chattahoochee River trail system. The bridge and waterfall are favorite spots for amateur and professional photographers.
