Description

The Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve, in the middle of busy Los Angeles, is a year-round resting and nesting place for migratory and local birds. On cold winter mornings the air can drop below freezing, resulting in a dramatic blanket of fog over the pond at sunrise. As the fog lifts, shafts of light play through the trees and illuminate the birds as they start their day.
