A Winters Morning

This brook is just a short hike from my home through the woods. The simple beauty of the location is composed with the S curve of the brook leading to the rising mid morning sun. The image pulls together the many beautiful forms of frozen water with the ice patterns forming on the brook, the bits of fresh snow reflecting light in the foreground and the backlighting chandelier effect of the iced tree branches.
