Description

Thousands of Ross's and Snow Geese fly from the Arctic and spend the winter months in the Central Valley of California. After locating a suitable habitat to spend the winter, these voracious birds fly off each day to adjacent fields and wetlands to feed. After a location has been depleted, they fly off again but return at sunset to settle in for the evening. I use these natural patterns when choosing to make my photos as represented in this photo.
