While touring Etosha National Park in Namibia, I saw a herd of zebra unwittingly walking across my field of view toward two lions. I hoped that when the zebra saw the lions, they would run back across my field of view, stirring up a cloud of back lit dust from the dry earth. Fortunately, not only did they run back across, they then turned directly towards me in a cloud of dust. The black and white animals and chalk-colored earth and dust made for a black and white rendition. The long distance and lens helped to compress the action.
