Weekly photo assignments from the editors of Outdoor Photographer Magazine
The summer season provides challenges for photographers with the sun being higher in the sky for most of the day, hazy skies and less color contrast. But that doesn’t stop many photographers from using their training and experience to work with the conditions. For this week’s assignment, we want to see how you use the challenging midday light of summer to your advantage. Submit your unique landscape, nature and wildlife summer scenes by August 15.—Kristan Ashworth, Managing Editor
The winning images from our weekly assignments are featured on the OP Blog, as well as our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
