Weekly photo assignments from the editors of Outdoor Photographer Magazine
Fall is right around the corner, and before you head out to capture those fall colors (stay tuned for that assignment in a few weeks after peak color has passed), we want you to take advantage of the transitioning seasons and cooler weather by getting out and connecting with nature. Go on a hike, check out the woods in your own backyard, leave the city for a day and explore a secluded and peaceful destination. Deadline extended due to prior technical difficulties with submissions. For this week’s assignment, submit your best shots of what wilderness means to you by September 26. Landscape, nature and wildlife images are welcomed.—Kristan Ashworth, Managing Editor
The winning images from our weekly assignments are featured on the OP Blog, as well as our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
