Walking into a clear cut on a beautiful fall morning I found myself face to face with a pretty good size bull moose. As I positioned myself for a better composition the moose stood his ground without moving or trying to run away. Moments later I knew why. Out came the ma'ma moose alone with their yearling. I photographed them from not to many feet away and wisely decided to leave them be where the bull moose looked as if he didn't need me to get any closer. So I was happy with what I had got and let them go about their day.
