Description

A bull elk rushes across a meadow in order to control his harem. The bull elk are full of testosterone during the early Autumn in the Rockies. There bugles can be heard echoing throughout September and October. They are filled with a singular purpose during this time, often forgoing food in order to mate with as many females as possible. This photograph is an attempt at capturing that energy and purpose.
