If one's ever been to Oxbow Bend in the fall one knows that it is usually packed with people, with good reason. However, this evening was cold, stormy, and didn't seem promising for sunset. But with only a couple people around it was hard to pass up having Oxbow Bend in the fall mostly to myself. At the last moment the sky turned almost red low on the horizon. With a long exposure I was able to capture the last color in the clouds and keep the water smooth.
