Although I frequently photograph in Yosemite Valley, I haven't photographed from the Sentinel Bridge - an iconic spot, for over a decade... I arrived to Yosemite Valley early in the morning, before sunrise, to photograph fresh snow that fell overnight. There was only one other person at the bridge, so I decided to join. I only took two exposures, just before sun appeared behind Half Dome, and moved on. For this photograph I used 6-stop neutral density filter to allow for a long exposure, coupled with graduated ND filter to darken the sky and balance the light.
