An early crisp Autumn day following a snow fall at an iconic location in Yosemite Valley along the Merced river with views of Bridalveil Falls and El Capitan was perfect for this shot. The river was like glass and there was a morning mist to add texture. The sky had the right amount of clouds and the morning sun was lighting the famous El Capitan granite monolith.
