Description
Although Death Valley is not known for its rain--indeed, it is one of the driest spots in the United States--it does occasionally receive storms, especially during the winter. In this case, a late-winter storm was bearing down on Death Valley, and I was lucky enough to catch the ominous scene from the salt flats at Badwater Basin.
