Weekly photo assignments from the editors of Outdoor Photographer Magazine
The rich whites, blacks and grays of a winter landscape set the mood for a perfect black-and-white landscape image. Seek out a compelling subject in great light and capture the scene with monochrome in mind. Then, put your post-processing skills to the test when you convert the image to black and white. Deadline to submit your best winter black-and-white images is February 27.—Kristan Ashworth, Managing Editor
