On this St. Patrick’s day morning, the lower elevations of Mount Diablo turned a vibrant carpet of green, and as the sun crested over the hills, this interesting looking oak tree and the cows surrounding it cast long shadows. I actually had to dial down the saturation on this one, believe it or not (!), but it may just turn into this year’s "Windows Desktop" (those that know me know I publish my own version every spring).
California has a very narrow timeframe when the rolling hills are temporarily green, and I do not take that short window of opportunity for granted!
