Weekly photo assignments from the editors of Outdoor Photographer Magazine
Our wildlife friends are on the move as hibernation ends and migration and mating season kick off for many creatures. This flurry of animal activity is a great time to capture photographs of mammals in the wild (safely, from a distance, with a telephoto lens) or of reptiles, amphibians and insects that make their way into your backyard, garden or nearby pond. Deadline to submit images is May 1.—Kristan Ashworth, Managing Editor
The winning images from our weekly assignments are featured on the OP Blog, as well as our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
