Head east from Santa Margarita or west from McKittrick on Hwy 58 until you get to the mountains east of the Carrizo Plain
Notes
Nikon D850, Nikkor 200-500F/5.6 @ 460mm @ F/11, ISO= 640, 1/1250 sec exposure. The landscape was far away, it was windy hence the fast shutter, high ISO. Because of environmental factors including heat waves the photo isn't as clear as I hoped but was happy considering what I was achieved. To get the zig/zag of the hills I needed distance.
