Earlier this spring, when wildflowers appeared in stunning displays across the southern portion of the state, I made a mental note that Sedona might be in turn soon as well. These are some photos I took of a couple amazing sunsets with wild purple owl's clover. They appeared to almost carpet certain fields and shifted hue subtly with the amount of sunlight and the colors of the clouds overhead, from a more vibrant fuchsia to a deeper purple. P.S. I am still trying to recover from some fire ant bites up the back of my leg while trying to capture the sunset on one of the days!
