Heaven on Earth

I went on a road trip along the Eastern Sierra. After driving up Onion Valley Road, I took a day hike over Kearsarge Pass and into Kings Canyon National Park. In this portion of the park, the Kearsarge Pinnacles (pictured) are a dominant feature. I was able to get a reflection of the pinnacles in an outlet of one of the Kearsarge Lakes. The lighting worked very well in this scene because of passing/building cumulus clouds. The scene struck me as "heaven on earth," hence the title.
