Description
I love photographing sunrises in September, especially in our area (Smoky's) when the humidity goes down. You get so much more clarity and the color is so much better. I took this image early September from Newfound Gap in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I had the entire area to myself and in the Smoky's, that's hard to come by. The sky had a few clouds, but they did not interfere with the sun rising, so I was able to capture a really nice sunburst as it popped up over a ridge.
