This is one of my favorite places in Yosemite National Park. In a fine morning with no wind breeze, the iconic Half Dome is usually reflected along the Merced River.
In autumn season, Cottonwood trees turned into vibrant yellow and add an ascent of beauty to the place. On this morning, I decided for a low-angle shot framing the large swath of rock on the right and waited for the sun to burst its ray. The morning mist shrouded the Half Dome in a magical way and the light rays of the sun beamed to the vibrant autumn colors of the Cottonwood trees. It was a beautiful morning.
