Ahwahnee Meadow lies immediately east of Yosemite Village in Yosemite Valley.
This 2019 image was produced using three exposures, a remake of an image from November 2006. I often find that I can give old images new life using the latest post-processing software and techniques!
Mist at sunrise provides both the prism and the canvas for a double circular rainbow as the sun emerges near Half Dome. Frosty mornings in Yosemite in the fall provide the opportunity for capturing photos like this one. Unfortunately this non-native elm, planted in the mid-1800s, no longer stands in Ahwahnee Meadow.
