Description

Taken on September 24th after the first snowfall of the season, blanketing the peak fall colors on the Rocky Mountains. Huge fog banks were floating through the valley and moving up the side of Mount Herard, an enormous massif consisting actually of seven different peaks, all more than 13,000 ft high. The sun was able to sneak a few rays through the clouds giving the frosty scenery a warm glow on the edges.
