Clouds turn pink above the Teton Range at sunset, photographed from Schwabacher Landing on an autumn evening. After entering the park earlier that afternoon, I decided to stay at Schwabacher Landing for sunset in hopes of getting some good color. At first, it didn't look promising--the cloud cover was seemingly too thick, with no noticeable break in the west to allow the sun to light up the clouds. Just as I was about to give up, I noticed the sky above the Tetons beginning to turn pink. Then more clouds turned, and more, until reaching the pinnacle of color in this photo. Shortly after that, all turned grey/dark. It was a magical moment in Grand Teton National Park.
