Description

This famous architecture attracts million tourists every year to experience the history of this 'Arena of Death’. Built in between 70-72 A.D by Emperor Vespasian of the Flavian dynasty, the massive stone amphitheater was opened as the Flavian Amphitheater with 100 days of games, including gladiatorial combats and wild animal fights. This gigantic structure which is measured as 620 by 513 feet ,  was the largest amphitheater in the Roman world having a capacity of  50,000 spectators.
