The sun had come up with beautiful light hitting the Tetons and the sagebrush fields. The problem was that this morning the moose were not anywhere near the light yet. The moose and the anxious photographers were standing in the shade! It just wasn't really working photographically so I tried a different approach. Since I don't do much landscape photography I thought maybe a silhouette of the moose would be cool looking against the backdrop of the Tetons. And then the moose momentarily stopped grazing, walked up to one another and just touched paddles momentarily.
