Great Blue Heron

Pretty sure this Great Blue Heron was waiting for a fish to swim by or maybe it was just resting. I love the photo- it's one of my favorites of last year taken in October with a Nikon D7100 and a Nikon 80-400 mm lens. The funny thing that happened while taking my shots was a Morning Dove flew up to me asking to be fed. Poor thing had to wait a few minutes while I finished shooting. It then flew up to land on my hand. A person driving by took a picture of that, but I wasn't able to take out my cell phone to capture it.
