From I-5 Lakeway exit in Bellingham, go east on Lakeway 3.3 miles, right on Austin 0.4 miles, and down Lake Louise Road 1.1 miles to reach the small reserve parking area.

Description

The Stimpson Family Nature Reserve protects a beautiful, mostly undisturbed forest, just 15 minutes from downtown Bellingham. It hosts hiking trails, very old red cedar and Douglas fir trees, acres of ferns, two ponds, abundant wetlands, and varied wildlife including deer and cougar.
