As a nature photographer I was struck by how I was drawn to the angles, shapes and textures of old Italy. Mostly I tried to marry the landscape to the architecture however much of the architecture didn't need any landscape to make it compelling. This pedestrian ally of arches, stairs, cobblestone and plaster begged me to stop.
