Virginia Bluebells at Sunset

With extra time at home this spring due to everything going on in the world, I needed to head out and spend time in nature. So I took advantage of a changed schedule to watch these Virginia Bluebells reach their peak bloom in a forest preserve near my home. I visited the forest preserve several times, at different times of day and in different weather, to finally capture what I was envisioning: the warm sun over beautiful blue wildflowers.
