Description
I love to visit my local wetlands early in the morning, especially when it's cooler and there's a nice fog hanging over the water. I spotted this Great Blue Heron standing motionless, beautifully silhouetted against the glowing fog. Though I had my 500mm telephoto lens attached, I purposefully hung back to ensure I captured the entire landscape.
