Description

Two moose, browsing in the willow stand, are disturbed by the noise of the helicopter overhead. Moose (Alces alces) is the largest and heaviest extant species in the deer family. Moose primarily exploit plant communities of deciduous shrubs that have been disturbed by flooding, avalanches, or forest fires.
