Description

An Alpine Chough flying high at about 12,000 feet in the French Alps. It is believed that they nest at higher altitudes than any other bird, and its eggs have adapted to thin atmosphere to improve oxygen intake and water loss reduction. They're great fun to watch as they effortlessly fly at very high altitudes.
