First light, after a night of camping in Grayson Highlands State Park, Virginia. What a beautiful view to start the day off with before hiking with the wild ponies that are abundant in this state park. It is located deep in the Blue Ridge mountains with the Appalachian Trail crossing through it while offering some great hiking and breathtaking views along the way. Mount Rogers, one of the higher peaks in the area at a elevation of 5,729 feet and is within a days hike out and back from the parking lot. Its a great place for anyone who loves the outdoors and nature.
