One of my favorite set of waterfalls are “The Giant Steps” in Banff National Park. It is a 12.6 mile round-trip hike plus however many miles of exploring you do. A series of cascading waterfalls extend for over a mile along the river. It was completely cloudy and rained the entire day of the hike. This made for easy long exposure pictures of the falls. I just had to wait for the rain to periodically slacken to take my pictures. I was soaking wet by the end of the day, but I got some of my best waterfall pictures ever.
