Description

A Western Tanager peeks out from behind some oak leaves at a park in Reno, NV. Western Tanagers are striking birds with their bright yellow bodies, black wings, and red faces. It so happened that this bird peeked out in a spot that works well for the "rule of thirds," its face occupying the intersection of lines on the upper left.
