El Yunque rainforest in Puerto Rico is the only rainforest registered in the U.S. National Forest Service. Once home to the indigenous people of the Caribbean, the Taino, the rainforest is now home to a diverse population of plants and animals. The rainforest is small compared to many around the world, yet it has been the site of much inquiry. This was shot on a November afternoon, at one of the accessible falls. The proportion of the woman to the waterfall really put into perspective the grandeur of these hidden treasures.
