We were visited by a troop of vervet monkeys while visiting a coffee plantation in Arusha, Tanzania. We had left the sliding door to the deck open, and the vervets marched right in. We did not feed or encourage the monkeys, we simply watched while they investigated. One of the females had a very small baby tucked into her arms. The baby was curiously examining everything. I actually flipped the orientation of the image around to be able to better see the baby's expression. You can see from the catchlights in his eyes that the sky is actually down instead of up. I took the picture with an Canon EOS 7D Mark II with a Canon EF 100-400 mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS II USM lens. The exposure settings were 1/60 sec, f/5.6, ISO 1,600, 400 mm.
