We had been looking for this pack of wild dogs the whole time we were in the very remote Ruaha National Park in South Central Tanzania. We finally caught up with the pack on the last day. After the early morning kill of a Grant's gazelle and a short rest after feeding, the whole pack raced off together after the Alpha female. They were exuberant, playful, and constantly interacting with each other as the closely packed group raced by. I took the image with a Canon EOS 7D Mark II with a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS II USM + Canon 1.4X III teleconverter. The exposure settings were 1/800 sec, f/9.0, ISO 2000, 560 mm.
