Description
Possibly one of the most accessible and visited viewpoints in the mountains of Maine, and for good reason. An expansive vista encompassing Mooselookmeguntic Lake and the surrounding mountains greet visitors to the Rangeley Lakes Region and hikers along the Appalachian Trail. Since the road side pull off is so often photographed, I vowed not to take any shots unless lighting and conditions were something special. After several drive bys, these stormy fall conditions were some of the best.
