Description
Smoke from Fresno County, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon came over the eastern Sierra mountains to create an illusion of sunset; This photo was taken 3 hours prior to sundown. I’ve visited this location regularly over the past decade - I have never seen such intense smoke. We drove through Lone Pine and Mono County up and down over the course of 4 days simply to avoid the smoky haze. 2020
