Description
Fall is the time the bull moose attempt to find a cow moose to make sure his genes continue on. To make sure the cow moose is in estrus the bull moose will do the flehmen response - basically smelling the cow moose. I was standing in the correct spot that morning to capture a large bull moose performing the flehmen response facing me and in vibrant fall colors.
