I followed this great blue heron around as it was fishing along the shore of a small lake in a nearby housing subdivision. The birds are accustomed to people, so they are not shy of the camera. My patience paid off when the heron plucked this medium size green sunfish from the water. In anticipation of a catch, I had the shutter speed set high (1/1250 sec) to freeze the motion of the wriggling fish. Within the dozen shots I took in the sequence, this was my favorite because the fish's face and patterning were very clear.
