During my first trip to Smokey Mountain National Park I didn't get a lot of clear moments. The cloud cover was so thick at times it was hard to see 10 feet in front of you. In one of the moments when the clouds broke, I found a beautiful grove of trees that were freshly dusted from the snow. The light started cutting through the clouds and highlighted a patch of trees perfectly underneath. This was a wonderful winter wonderland in the heart of the smokey mountains.
