Drive 3 miles up the Scenic Drive Road from the visitors center until you get to the Grotto shuttle stop on your right-hand side. If you park in the Grotto parking lot, cross the road to the Angels Landing trailhead.
I have been to Zion National Park 4 times in 2020. I found it to be incredibly packed on every trip except in late December. Most times of the year your dependent on taking a shuttle to access the scenic drive portion of the park. In late November they stop the shuttle service and allow you to drive your car through the Scenic Drive portion. I found it was not crowded at all and quite easy to find parking at the different hiking areas. I would definitely recommend crampons as there will typically be ice and snow along the trail. People who didn't have spikes were sliding on the steep rock face.
Zion National Park is filled with breathtaking views.
