If this famously ancient trees could talk... I bet the first thing they say I Please Stay On The Trail. Over the past few years, this spot on the Discovery Trail in the ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest has seen its northeastern side vegetation trampled on and killed by photographers, Instagrammers, and tik tockers. Each year I see more and more people go off-trail to get their composition. I've seen famous photographers, and workshops disregard the rules for their own benefit. This area needs to be protected and saved for future generations. Nobodys photo should come before these trees. Ive gotten into yelling matches and see people play dumb when I ask them to please come back on to the trail. When I break out the phone to video them, they seem to get the message real quick, but I cant be there all the time. So please stay on the trail.
