10 miles north of Columbus Ohio
Dress warm and be patient. Follow the owls patterns to catch flight pictures.
It is unusual for a northern Snowy Owl to make it as far south as Columbus OH to feed for the winter. We have been graced with such a visitor. Arriving in November this snowy owl has stayed in the area all winter. It is living and feeding in an area about 1000yards wide under a dam. Finding this beautiful creature in a snowy background is no easy feat. I have gone out now in well below freezing temps to catch a glimpse and hopefully some shots in flight. Last Saturday I was lucky to capture this image.
