In the craziest year I have been alive, 2020 travel and photography has become such a challenge. The Adirondacks in upstate NY became one of the few destinations this year in the pandemic my wife and I could safely drive to. About 10 hours from our home in Ohio we rented a remote cabin in Schroon and spent 5 days in the fall with the leaf change as our goal. My first trip with my DJI Mavic drone I couldn't wait to find some colored areas in the forest. I pulled off the road here and sent the drone up, I couldn't believe what I was seeing . The colors were at peak and the road and pines added great composition options.
