Description
This flowery meadow and the lone tree are actually on a ridge in the Wet Mountains, separated from the Sangre de Cristo range (part of Colorado's Southern Rocky Mountains) by a seven mile wide valley, the Wet Mountain Valley. However, I felt the most dramatic image would be the two different ranges sucked in with a long lens and combine them. But in order to capture the entire magnitude of the scene, I had to shoot 5 single side-by-side photos and merge them in Lightroom into one panorama.
