Description

Kestrels famously hover in mid-air whilst looking for prey. Which is nice if you are trying to make sure they are in focus! I took the image with a Canon 7D Mark II witjh a 100 - 400 mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS II USM lens. The exposure settings were 1/2000 sec at f/6.3, ISO 160, 400 mm.
